To Iowa Sierra Club members-
The Sierra Club has endorsed John Kerry in the race for President.
Sierra Club, the Democratic Party, and others will be asking for
volunteers. Because of Iowa's past history in elections it is considered
a swing state. Gore won Iowa by close to 5,000 votes. That is around the
same number as Sierra Club members in Iowa. Sierra Club members can
make a difference in the Presidential race in Iowa.
Please help to get members of your community to the polls in November to
vote. While most of Sierra Club members are registered voters, just like
the rest of the population of the United States, they are not voting.
Please do what ever you can to get people to vote. The Kerry Campaign
is looking for precinct captains. MoveOn is setting up a network of
volunteers. If you would like to help Sierra Club in Iowa to encourage
our members to vote email me at <[log in to unmask]>.
