Briefly, yesterday Tarah and I journeyed to Davenport to 'protest' the Bush
campaign rally...historically, only 3 blocks from a Kerry business/labor
leaders event at the same time.

We had 4 people holding signs, with a couple of other people who came over
to us and identified themselves as Sierrans but with some other group that
day. In addition, several young people spontaneously offered to hold more of
our signs for a period.

Tarah was mentioned in the Des Moines Register coverage this morning,
although not id'ed as a Sierran. I have not received reports yet on news
coverage in the Quad Cities area media. Cumulatively, we do know that
footage was shot by at least 2 TV stations, and we were interviewed by the
DMR, the Quad City Times and the Rock Island Argus-Leader. The volunteers,
Jerry Neff and Dottie Walla, did a great job with the media interviews.
