We will hold another phone bank to Rep Jim Nussle--members not previously
called--at the Sierra Club Office this Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:30
pm.   Rep Nussle is expected to chair the conference & he needs to know
Iowans expect him to keep language for Arctic drilling out of the final
budget proposal.

Please thank Rep. Jim Nussle for keeping the Arctic National Wildlife out
of the House Budget bill and ask him to keep it out of the conference
resolution.  He is expected to chair the conference.
 
Please thank Senator Harkin for voting for Sen. Cantwell's amendment to
remove Arctic Drilling from the budget.
 
Please express your disappointment to Senator Grassley who voted against
Sen. Cantwell's amendment. Strongly encourage him to fix his terrible
mistake before it is too late by voting against any budget that would
allow drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
