A Public Listening Session
What questions should we be asking regarding the
Proposed Power Plant in Black Hawk County?
Wednesday April 5, 2006
7 - 8:45 PM
Cedar Falls Public Library
524 Main Street
A 750 Megawatt coal-burning power plant is being considered
for construction and operation in Black Hawk County.
Because such a large power plant has a potential to have
adverse effects on Northeast Iowa's air and water, it would be
prudent for residents to be clear about what might be at stake.
This listening session is intended for citizens to develop a list
of questions people are interested in finding answers to. We
can then begin a process of searching for answers to those
questions.
Please consider attending, listening to others' questions, and
sharing yours. All are welcome.
