Central College called the other day and asked if we had anyone who would be
interested in taking this survey on river landscapes. I said, "yes," and
asked for instructions on how to get to it. It takes about 35 minutes to
complete the survey. Please see the message below from Anya Butt at
Central.
Thanks.

Subject: Survey On Perception Of River Landscapes
Date: Thu, 22 Jun 2006 23:21:09 -0500
Dear colleague,
We are writing to request your participation in a survey about how river
managers and individuals involved with organizations focused on river
activities view and react to different river landscapes. You are asked
to answer a set of questions in an online survey about your reactions to
24 photographs of streams and river landscapes. This is part of a
large-scale study being conducted in eight states in the U.S., as well
as in France and Poland. Your response is extremely important to this
study, and we very much appreciate your assistance in conducting the
survey.
The survey should take approximately 35 minutes to complete. There are
no apparent risks to participate in this study, and the questionnaire is
anonymous.
This research study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional
Review Board-Human Subjects in Research at the University of
Connecticut. For research-related problems or questions regarding
subjects' rights, please contact the University of Connecticut
