Hi folks!
I just wanted to send out a reminder about the raptor and colonial waterbird
nest monitoring workshops. If you were interested in registering for a
workshop, now's the time to do it! Again this program is designed to train
people to collect information on nesting activity and success of raptors and
CWBs. The member's of this listserv are ideal participants in this program
as they already have a passion for and knowledge of birds.
For more information and to download a registration form go to:
http://www.iowadnr.com/wildlife/diversity/vwmp.html There are workshops
the next 3 Saturdays: Oct. 27 in Burlington, Nov. 3rd in Polk County in
between Ames and Des Moines (Chichaqua Bottoms) and Nov. 10 in Northwest
Iowa near Ruthven at Lost Island Lake Nature Center. Workshops run from
10-4.
If you're interested in attending please consider registering now. And
please pass it on to anybody else who might be interested!
Thanks!
Stephanie
