After the publication of a Sierra anti hyperion ad Thursday, the Sioux City Journal puts a story on the front page today. I will try to get a copy of the ad via email.

Peter Carrels, a national Sierra staffer based in south Dakota, tried to tell the reporter Dave Dreezen that the ad campaign emerged because Hyperion refused to participate in any public forum. An event was planned at Western Iowa Tech; the refinery people refused to come. On South Dakota NPR a program was pulled because Hyperion would not particpate. None of those refusals made it into the story.
