I want to thank Tom for bringing this to our attention and giving ideas on how
to respond.

I agree that letters should be written. I would argue against the club going
"public" with our wishes. I won't go into detail on why this is a good
stratgy.  We do have our concerns and we should be discussing them with
Vilsack. Hopefully this will be on the agenda for the Ex Com meeting.

I would encourage anyone to write a letter to the editor of thier
paper with what they don't like about the DNR and ask that new people be
brought in to change the situation.
