 We expect a House floor vote on an anti-environmental "regulatory reform"
bill,
 HR 350, next Wednesday 2/10.  Leading up to the vote we will be lobbying
members
 of Congress to support a Waxman Amendment and a Boehlert Amendment.  Details
can
 be found in Sierra Club Action Daily.  After the vote we expect to do paid
media
 accountability ads in several media markets where Reps. voted wrong and some
 phone banking.  We will be in touch with chapter leaders in the districts
where
 we want to run these ads and phone banks.  For details contact Kathryn

 There is a Sierra Student Coalition/ SC Training Academy/Greencorps traing in
 Austin TX this weekend, 2/6.

 We expect the Forest Service to release its final Roadless Area Moratorium on
 2/10.  Once it is released we will do media around the release.  Watch for
 talking points and details in Sierra Club Action Daily.  For more information

 There will be an offshore oil drilling lobby week in DC next week, including
 Club volunteers.

 On 2/10 the Exxon Valdez Trustees are meeting in Dc and doing a press
conference
 that we will need to respond to.
