What can anyone tell me about the proposed landfill in Linn County?


I understand there is a meeting today at Cedar Rapids City Council Chambers
from 1:30 - 3:15 p.m., and reconvening at 5:00 p.m.

I have been out of state, so all I know is that there is a proposal to
place a landfill on 400 acres of bottomland, at least some of which is
timber.  I have heard that Dean Roosa has been hired, but I don't know who
has hired him.
