A conference called The Watershed Approach to Improving Water
Quality: Fact or Fantasy?
will be held
March 28-30, 2000
Convention Center
La Crosse, Wisconsin
It is hosted by the West North Central Region, SWCS
It will focus on:
Science and practice of watershed programs, emphasizing "tools"
Examples of innovative partnerships and projects
Information on methods to assess and allocate pollutant loads
Questions of shared responsibility and linkages between urban and rural
residents
New visionary approaches
It is intended for anyone interested in the watershed approach to natural
resources stewardship.
