I am getting ready for my first REAP congress as a delegate from Woodbury County. Tim Orwig used to attend for our club. Does anyone have suggestions about contacts or issues? Are there other Sierra Club members who are attending.

FYI, forwarded by Jane Clark. Several Sierra Club members attended the
meeting in January 1999 at the beginning of this strategic plan.
STATE PRESERVES ADVISORY BOARD TO HOLD WORK SESSION
DES MOINES - The State Preserves Advisory Board will hold a working session
Tuesday, June 27 to complete the action steps for the board's strategic
plan.
The work session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the State
Forest Nursery in Ames. The plan is finalized and will be printed in July.
Board members include Jonathan Steege of Maynard, chair; Tim Sproul of
Missouri Valley; Gary Phillips of Estherville; Lois Tiffany of Ames; Robin
Fortney of Des Moines; Kathy Gourley of Des Moines, Department of Cultural
Affairs; and Lyle Asell, interim director of the DNR.
