Could you please post the following message to those individuals or groups, you have access to, that might be interested in knowing about the conference? Also, could you post the conference announcement to other listservs which you are registered on, if you think it is appropriate. We have already posted the message to a number of listservs. I have provided a list of those below, so as to avoid cross postings as much as possible  -- Thanks for your help.

On September 22-24, 2000, the 9th Urban-Rural Food Systems Conference will be held at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in East Troy, Wisconsin. The theme of this year's conference is "Global Challenges, Local Solutions: Building an Ethical Food Economy."

This conference is for everyone who appreciates and wants access to good food. It will provide a forum for exchanging information about how we can shape a sustainable and more regional food system.
