The Eagle View Group (Quad Cities) Sierra Club will be hosting a canoe outing
on Oct. 1.  Feel free to post this to other Sierra Club groups that might be
interested.

Sunday, October 1st - noon
Meet at Ron & Sheila Bosworth's house about noon.  We will load canoes, etc.
and hit the water by  1pm.  Canoe the Wapsi River and the backwaters of the
Mississippi until ending up back at the Bosworth's. This trip takes abotu 4
hours and is not strenuous.  You may want to pack a cooler with a drink and a
snack as there is time to float and enjoy the scenery of an undeveloped river.

Please bring a dish to share and your beverage for the potluck that follows.
All serving utensils are provided.

Two weather conditions will prevent the outing from occuring. - one is rain
and the other is a south wind.
