Environmental Advocates (EA) invites you to attend a legislative forum open
to the public at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27 in the council chambers of
the Iowa City Civic Center. The event will be held in conjunction with the
League of Women Voters and co-sponsor Iowa City Education Association.

Invited legislators include state senators Joe Bolkcom, Bob Dvorsky and Ro
Foege and state representatives Vicki Lensing, Mary Mascher and Dick Myers.
The public is encouraged to ask questions and raise concerns about
environmental or other issues. Morning-appropriate refreshments will be
provided.

EA was formed in 1987 to make people more aware of local environmental
issues and to promote creative solutions to environmental problems. The
