Environmental Advocates invites public to May 24 talk on Johnson County conservation IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Harry Graves, director of the Johnson County Conservation Board, will present "Thoughts on Conservation in Johnson County" at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 24 at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center, Room B, in Iowa City. The free, public event will be sponsored by Environmental Advocates (EA). Graves will speak for 20 minutes on his ideas and vision for conservation in the county. He will then answer questions from the audience. The recreation center is located at 220 S. Gilbert St. For more information, call 351-6410 EA was formed in 1987 to make people more aware of local environmental issues and to promote creative solutions to environmental problems.
