Subject: CBS Sunday Morning - Slow Food Iowa Airdate

I'm happy to announce that Doug Smith, the producer of CBS Sunday Morning,
has announced an airdate for their Slow Food segment.  It was filmed last
March at Simone's Farm, Bill Leefer's Bison Ranch, Jeff Allen's Stone City
Brewing, and at Devotay.

True to his warning that it could be short notice, Mr. Smith said that the
segment would be broadcast on CBS this Sunday, May 27th.  The show begins at
8am central time, and there's no telling which part of the show it will be
in until it starts.  For you locals, the CBS affiliate here in Iowa City  is
KGAN channel 2.  Also you should be aware that it could get bumped if a
scandal breaks or something.

I am going to try to throw together a Slow Food Event that afternoon to
celebrate.  We'll watch a video of the segment and have a few drinks &
munchies.
