Both Nussle and Ganske seemed to be under the impression that there is natural gas in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. It is probably industry that has told them that. According to the Sierra Club staffer in D.C. that works on the Arctic, there is very little natural gas in the Arctic. They may be misinformed or they may think that the natural gas that is there is worth it or they may just be making excuses.
