ED FALLON TO DISCUSS ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES NOV. 29

State Representative Ed Fallon, D-Des Moines, will speak at Drake
University on Thursday, Nov. 29, as part of the University's
Environmental Science and Policy Program Speaker Series. The speech,
which is free and open to the public, will start at 4 p.m. in the
Honors Lounge of Medbury Hall, 1317 28th St.

Fallon, a Drake alumnus who represents the 70th House District and
serves as director of 1,000 Friends of Iowa, will discuss issues of
urban sprawl and loss of habitat and farms. He also will address the
subject of working with the Iowa Legislature on environmental issues.
