GLOBAL WARMING PRESENTATION

The Leopold Group, the Sierra Club group for southeastern Iowa, will
sponsor a presentation by
David Osterberg, Professor of Environmental Policy at Univ. of Iowa on
Wed. Nov. 28, 7:30 PM the Fairfield Public Library. He will speak on
Global Warming and Alternative Futures.  Professor Osterberg is an
excellent speaker and very knowledgeable in the area of alternative,
sustainable energy.

Phil Scott, from Fairfield, will also speak on empowering individuals to
become part of the solution to Global Warming.  He will discuss some of
the tools he learned at a Sierra Club Political Activism workshop he
attended in October.  Phil Scott serves on the board of the Iowa
Renewable Energy Association and is active in state and local politics.

Refreshments will be provided and the program is free and open to the
public.
