       Most of the dams included in this program were built for ag purposes,
not power production.  As far as I know, none of the dams are large enough to
produce power.  Dave Beck, the Planning Leader for this program at NRCS,
might be better able to answer your questions.  He can be reached at
284-4135.  The NRCS held an informational meeting in October about the dam
rehab program, at which they showed pictures of the dams that needed rehab
work and also handed out a map that showed the distribution of the dams
around the state.  Hopefully, Dave can get this information to you.
