Dear Iowa Sierrans,

Thank you for continuing to write about your experiences and interests for
the Iowa City Area Group Sierran paper. We hope you've enjoyed the past 3
issues we've put together for you.

Diana Harris, our layout editor and I appreciate all of our members'
contributions, illustrations and suggestions for stories and articles. Our
regular ICAG Sierran illustrator, Nancy Fink, has been a great help and
asset - and has done custom drawings for us for particular articles on very
short notice, & thus has our undying gratitude - please feel free to view
more of her work at http://www.nancyafink.com - she does wonderful work.

Guest illustrators and photographers are always welcome. We have 4 pages to
fill, so please consider sending in anything 'Sierran' you think might be of
interest to our readers.

Our next issue will go to press at the end of this month, so please send me
whatever you have ready for our spring issue as soon as possible. We tend to
get a lot of promises, but not much in the way of hard copy from local
Sierra folk...

Our next ICAG meeting is going to be at the Iowa City Public Library, Room C
(123 S. Linn St.) this coming Thursday, Jan. 17th, at 7 pm. - if you'd like
to attend and learn more about what we're working on around here or put in
your 2 cents...

If you go to the national Sierra site or our local site (both listed below),
you may find issues and ideas you'd like to see addressed in our local
Sierra paper - so please think about it if you have a minute.

Thanks again for your readership and participation - spring is just around
the corner!!! We have a lot to look forward to.

Best always,
Ericka
