Commissioners will consider a proposal made by an industry taskforce that would require a minimum Title V fee of $1,000 for all facilities. Title V fees are currently paid by large facilities that are required to have an air operating permit. In general, Title V facilities are the largest emitters of air pollution. The EPC will also consider a fee increase for manure applicator certification. Under the proposal commercial applicators would pay $200 for certification and confinement site applicators would pay $100.
