There was an article about the scorecard in the Sunday DM Register. Although the reporter didn't list all the votes used for scoring, some of the votes were: By voting against the nomination of Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton Opposing oil and gas drilling in national monument areas and off the Florida coast Backing campaign finance reform Two of the Senate votes scored were on the farm bill. Etc. House votes included trade promotion authority, Arctic drilling, energy efficiency and restricitons on money for family planning. No one vote cancels out the others. Grassley scored 6 percent last year, which probably means he voted the right way once on the issues according to LCV.
