>Iowa has been chosen by National Sierra as a site to
do political education and will be hiring a
co-ordinator in Iowa to recruit volunteers to conduct
a voter education campaign around the Harkin Senate
race.

We need 2 more people to serve on a steering committee
to develop a voter education campaign plan. These
people cannnot be active in a Federal or party
campaign but they can encourage Sierra Club members to
vote.
It would be very helpful if the Chapter Political
Compliance Officer(that's you Wally) would be on the
Steering Committee so these people would know what
political activity they can or cannot do.
Debbie Neustadt has already volunteered to be on this
