ACTION ALERT: RALLY AGAINST BUDGET CUTS TO THE ENVIRONMENT

The Republican proposed budget for the coming fiscal year slashes environmental and cultural spending to the bone, crippling and killing many programs.  The Governor is promising to sign whatever budget comes out of the legislature rather than risk shutting down state government.

To voice our concerns to legislators and the governor, a rally is being organized for TUESDAY, MAY 28-the day of the special budget session.

CONTACT THE GOVERNOR AND YOUR LEGISLATOR THIS WEEK AND OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO PRESERVE ENVIRONMENTAL AND CULTURAL BUDGETS, AND TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET THEM ON MAY 28.
