The Sierra Club will be educating Iowans about the need to protect Iowa's air and water quality by walking in Des Moines area neighborhoods, talking to fellow Sierra Club members and asking them to put up yard signs and sign postcards.
Will you help us talk to Sierra Club members in Des Moines area neighborhoods on Saturday, April 26th?
We'll be meeting at 9:30 AM (RAIN OR SHINE) at Walker Johnston Regional Park in Urbandale, located at Douglas and 92nd. After going through a brief training session, we'll form teams of volunteers and then spread out to specific neighborhoods, talking to people from 10:15 to 12:30. We'll meet back at the part at 12:30 for a lunch celebration.
Contact Erin (515-277-8868 or [log in to unmask]) if you have questions and/or would like to volunteer to make a difference for Iowa's air and water quality.
