Jennifer,
Pro-environment yes, of course. Using this listserve
as a forum for advocating for a specific candidate is what I question.
There are many other venues, and the club has been fairly scrupulous
about keeping its distance from this kind of stuff in the past.
While I would love to get into a debate about the various merits of
your and my preferences, considering that there are now 10 major and
several minor ( heard of Fern Penna, anyone?) Democratic candidates in
the running, this listserve would soon become useless if we each
started weighing in.
For the sake of all the readers of this list, let's take it elsewhere.

0000,0000,8080I apologize for
offending anyone on the list-serve, that is certainly not the
intention. I believe we would all be on the same side of electing a
pro-environment candidate to the White House. There are several
excellent candidates running and we share the same goal.
