I beg your forgiveness, Wally. I thought I was responding to Jack Eastman who sent me the Climate Change report. It was a mistake. Boy are you touchy. But while we have the topic open let's talk. I believe this is also a discussion forum. Firstly, I don't regard my asking a question of that nature as the kind of campaign advertizing that we have all agreed we'd rather not have on this listserve. Secondly, Howard Dean has also been a strong supporter of "all forms of clean energy" as you put it. Check out his record: < Dean's position on Kyoto is that while he may have reservations about some provisions, the US should be an active participant in dealing with the global warming crisis and our government should be working toward compliance and ratification while negotiations are underway, since we are a major contributor to the problem. < This is a far cry from the current administrations' approach of withdrawing from any treaty that they don't totally agree with. I like Dennis Kucinich as well and I agree with him on many issues, however, I am trying to keep the whole picture in mind. Quixotic campaigns are fun, ideological purity is nice (though it can be dangerous - look at the other extreme that's in the White House now), but we have to be careful not to substitute ideology for thought. The overarching concern is that we cannot allow Bush, Inc. another term. I know Howard Dean can defeat Bush, I don't think Kucinich can. But that's just my opinion, what's yours?
