Species-a-Thon  Finale!

Everyone is invited to Jester Park Lodge at 6:00 on Wednesday, October
15,  for the Sierra Central Iowa Group's Species-a-thon Finale. Teams
of Sierrans have compiled species counts and collected pledges. We will
share these results and have an auction for some great items that
evening.

Included in the auction are four Ty Smedes nature prints. Ty is a well
known local photographer and has donated these beautiful framed works
of art. Another wonderful donation is a mountain bike (19" Schwinn
Frontier FS listed at $280.00) from Barr Bike & Fitness. Chaco sandals,
gift certificates to restaurants, and other items will also be
auctioned.

Snacks and beverages will be served. Please come and bring your
friends!! Following this will be our regular meeting at 7:30 featuring
speaker Mark Edwards. (Note:  this will also be at the JESTER LODGE.)
This is our big fundraiser of the year, the proceeds of which allow us
to fund our local environmental work, and so we hope to have a good
turnout. See you there.
