Congratulations to Central Iowa Group Sierra Club volunteer Jo Hudson, who was honored last night at the Central Iowa Activist Awards presentation sponsored by Cityview and Drake University.  Jo won the environmental activism award and was recognized for her work in eradicating invasive species in Central Iowa parks. 

Other honorees included Rich Eychaner, Chet Guinn, Ila Plasencia, Haley Whitlatch, and Jonathan Narcisse.  Look for them and Jo on the front cover of the October 1 issue of Cityview.
