Iowa is working on a comprehensive effort to deal with all exotic pests that could become invasive and impact our natural ecosystems. On February 12, 2004, the Iowa Invasive Species Working Group will be holding a one-day Invasive Species Strategic Workshop led by Dr. Jack Ranney of the University of Tennessee and Jean Eells of the Prairie Rivers RC&D. Anyone who has an interest or wishes to learn how they can help with developing Iowa's comprehensive Invasive Species effort is welcome to attend. What Is It?
