Sierra Club Red Rock Cabin Weekend

FRIDAY-SUNDAY, MARCH 12-14:

Enjoy two nights in a luxurious cabin on the north shore of Red Rock
Reservoir at Cordova County Park.  Hike the famous red rock cliffs and other
scenic trails, climb the observation tower, or just relax and warm in the
cabin with a lively game or a good book. If there is still snow, cross
country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding are options.  If spring warmth
comes early, then paddling on Red Rock or biking on the Volksweig trail are
options.  Stargazing with telescope offered at night.  Cabins offer multiple
bedrooms and sleeping loft, bathroom with shower, covered deck, large living
room, and full kitchen (including microwave).  Saturday breakfast through
Sunday lunch provided.  Cost is approximately $54-$62 per person, but final
cost depends on number of people who sign up. Group size limited to 10, so
sign up early!  A $25 deposit is due by March 6. Contact Doug at 277-1263 or
