Iowa Sierrans - come eat dinner while learning about mercury pollution in
Iowa at our upcoming Men Only Fish Fry!

What: A Fish Fry to educate Iowans about the risk to women and children of
eating mercury contaminated fish.
Who: Tarah Heinzen (Sierra Club), Dr. Roy Overton (Isaak Walton League),
Steve Veysey (local angler and water quality expert) and Mary Swalla-Holmes
(Ecumenical Ministries of Iowa) with community members.
Where: Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Church banquet room, 510 E 1st Street,
Ankeny 50021
When: Wednesday, March 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE

*Women and children are welcome and encouraged to attend - they just won't
be eating the fish! Mercury-free food will also be served.
