Sierra Club members and other environmental activists: please CIRCULATE THIS WIDELY President Bush will be in Dubuque this Friday morning on a campaign tour stop at the Grand River Center. Join other Sierra Club members as we demonstrate to bring attention to this administration's assaults on our environment! Who: Sierra Club members (other organizations will probably also be demonstrating) What: Protest against the Bush Administration's rollbacks of the laws protecting Iowa's communities from air, water and toxic dump pollution. When: Friday, May 7th (yes, this Friday) at around 10:00 AM (we don't have the details on Bush's visit yet - definitely MIDMORNING) Where: Meet up in front of the Grand River Center at 500 Bell Street in Dubuque. We'll have signs and banners, but feel free to make your own reading "Stop putting Iowa's communities at risk" "Protect people, not polluters", "Enforce the clean air act" "Enforce the clean water act" "Energy efficiency means national security" etc. and write Sierra Club at the bottom if you can. Wear Sierra Club gear if you've got it! If you need more information, contact Tarah Heinzen at the number below or on her cell phone at (515) 201-7429.
