I watched the full local news from Channel 4 in Rock Island at 5 yesterday.
There was a two second glimpse from across the street of the protesters which
did not give enough time to read the signs and another 2 second shot taken
along the curb but our group was in the distance and hardly noticible.  I also
watched channel 8 in Moline at 6 where there was nothing mentioned about the
demonstrators. Sheri Colman was to watch channel 6 Davenport and I haven't heard
yet from her. Altogether there were about 50 protesters, a lot of them
protesting the war. Some were very obnoxious, taunting the police and just doing a lot
of yelling. We tried to distance ourselves from that group. Jerry
