Sierra Club members and other environmental activists: please circulate this widely! President Bush will be in Davenport this Wednesday morning on a campaign tour stop at LeClaire Park. Join other Sierra Club members as we rally to say no more assaults on our air and water! Who: Sierra Club members (other organizations will also be demonstrating) What: We'll be rallying to educate the public about how the administration's policies put Iowans at risk of increased air and water pollution. When: Wednesday, August 4th, 9 AM. Doors open at 8 and Bush's rally will start at 10:40 Where: Meet up outside LeClaire Park. S Main Street at Beiderbeck Drive in Davenport. Only rally-goers will be allowed inside the park, but we'll gather as close to the entrance as we're allowed to go. We'll have signs and banners, but feel free to make your own reading "Bush administration putting Iowa's communities at risk" "Protect people, not polluters", "Enforce the clean air act" "Enforce the clean water act" "Sierra Club - protecting Iowans from the Bush administration" etc. Wear Sierra Club gear if you've got it!
