Introduction to Fire Behavior and Fire Safety * Whether you are interested in fire suppression or prescribed burns, the same principles of fire behavior and fire safety apply. In addition to these basic principles, Peter May and Jeffrey Learned will be bringing a unique perspective on prairie/woodland restoration in a creative and fun context. Upon course completion, we will be able to better manage our own land with the appropriate use of fire and, for those who pass the red card certification, go out on regional and nationalNWCGWildfires.
