Greetings,

We have scheduled the Iowa Environmental Council's lobby day for
Tuesday, February 1st. Please mark your calendars now!

Once again, we have the main Rotunda of the Capital reserved, and we
invite all members of the Council to set up a booth and participate in
this event. Last year's Lobby Day was well-received by many legislators,
and this year promises to be an exciting one with many environmental
issues on the state's agenda.

Please consider having a booth at this event, free of cost to you, and
make your voice heard! Contact myself or Tricia if interested in
participating. Although the booth is free, we are asking for individuals
or groups to sponsor this event to defray the cost to the Council.
Again, contact us if this is something you are interested in supporting.

We are also making plans for a Legislative Reception, similar to last
year's successful event, in the early evening at Metro Market in Des
Moines. More details will be forthcoming.
