Subject: Re: A book review
This is all very frustrating to read. To be
blunt, are the Democrats and/or national conservation organizations starting
yet to play catchup? I hope to live to see the day when all political
parties are vying to be best on the environment, but that sure isn't what's
happening now. If research on "framing" is what it takes to be
effective, I sure hope money is being spent on that. I'm very partial to
facts and programs, myself, and don't like spin. But at this
low political point, I'd be willing to chant "protecting America's grandeur,"
"poison-free cities," and every other mantra that I was told to keep
repeating, if doing that would help.
