Dear IFU Members and Friends,

Our lobbyist Carlos Jayne just called to let us know that he has received a
courtesy call from Governor Vilsack's office informing us that the Governor
signed the agricultural seed bill into law this morning (SF 259, HF 642).
This is the law that will prohibit counties from labeling or regulating
agricultural seed, including GMO/GE seed.

Thank you to all of you who contacted the Governor and your legislators to
voice opposition to this legislation.
