Carl Means passed away April 26. His funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 at Murdoch Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at from 9:30 to 10:30 tomorrow at the funeral home.

Carl had served in many leadership roles in the Cedar Wapsie group. Before he was plagued with complications of diabetes, he went on a number of outings, especially to Yellow River. He aslo was a regular letter-to-the-editor writer as well as an OP ED contributor to the Cedar Rapids paper on all kinds of environmental issues.
