Green Building Lunch-n-Learn

With energy prices soaring and indoor health in the headlines, it's time to
examine tried and true building methods and materials that work. The "Green"
movement has been around for years but Iowa seems to be just recently
awakening to its benefits. To enable building professionals to better serve
their customers and move away from the "I've always done it that way" method
of construction, Center on Sustainable Communities is hosting a
Lunch-n-Learn, featuring Bill McAnally, on Thursday, October 20th, 2005.
The seminar location is at the Des Moines Area Home Builder's Association
office in Johnston, (6751 Corporate Drive), and is open to anyone interested
in learning more about green building. The fee is $10 to cover the cost of
