Sierrans: Here is the weblink to the Governor's budget for Agriculture and Natural Resources...people can even 'vote' on what to consider priorities. This is about as much detail as we have on the budget to date, from the Governor's office. http://purchasingresults.iowa.gov/detail.aspx?id=ANR Here is the weblink to the Fiscal Bureau's Analysis of the Governor's Budget, which has the most detail currently available. Unfortunately, it is one large .pdf document containing the entire budget so I cannot separate out the Ag/NR Subcommittee portion to send you. If you open it and review down the sidebar, you will find several parts pertaining to the environment, water, and the Ag/NR Subcommittee's part of the budget. Look for references to 'Environmental Initiatives', 'Watershed Improvement Board', and 'Agriculture & Natural Resources' with an arrow in front of it. I will try to find another way to get it separated out for you, but for now... http://staffweb.legis.state.ia.us/lfb/docs/BudgAnalysis/FY2007/LAGAR/LAGAR_F Y2007.pdf Subcommittees will start hearings probably this next week or the week after.
