Please Note: Central Iowa Sierra Club's Waterfowl Migration Viewing Trip planned for Saturday, November 18 has been postponed because the snow geese have not yet arrived at DeSoto Bend National Wildlife Refuge. I'll be checking with the refuge in a week or so to learn of the migration progess. On this trip, we will travel west for the day to find the feathered followers of the Missouri River Flyway! We'll observe the migration of hundreds of thousands of snow geese and many bald eagles at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge west of Missouri Valley. Hike the refuge and tour the exhibit of relics from a sunken 19th century steamboat, too. It's a great outing for both families and couples or individuals. Difficulty level: Easy to Moderate. Contact Jane at 223-5047 or [log in to unmask] if you are interested in being notified of the new date for this trip. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - To unsubsribe from the IOWA-TOPICS list, send any message to: [log in to unmask] Check out our Listserv Lists support site for more information: http://www.sierraclub.org/lists/faq.asp
