Subject: NYTimes is looking for vegetarian kids in a non-veggie
family
The New York Times is working on a feature on kids (under age
12) who have
decided to become vegetarians even though their family is not
vegetarian.
Here's what the reporter is looking for:
"I'm interested
in how such kids get the idea in the first place (is
this stuff getting
written into kids books and cartoons?), as well as the
kinds of hassles it
entails (Little League pizza outings must get a little
more complicated).
Obviously, the greater contrast between kid and parents,
the better. A
couple of uber-green parents from Berkeley having vegetarian
kids would not
exactly be big news, for example."
If you have anyone to recommend,
please let me know.
Thanks, and Happy New Year!
