Good job, Jim. Thanks for setting the stage for  such a good guy in the 
Senate to shine. We have to make this issue something that resonates 
with the public and the idea of giving the counties a chance is a good one.

Sierra Club believes states should have the ability to be stricter then 
the federal government and counties should be able to be stricter then 
the state. Local people have the right to determine what is best for 
them. The result is not always what we like; but, it is what we believe.

We had a great workshop on legislative issues in Spencer, Iowa this past 
weekend. It has gotten me pumped up for the upcoming legislature.
