The Iowa Chapter of Sierra Club is forming a committee of Chapter members who are interested in energy issues. We want to propose and work to adopt policies that will ensure environmentally sound responses to the issues of energy production, use, and conservation. These proposals will be presented to state and national legislators, and administrative decision makers. There is no question that everyone now sees the importance of planning our energy future. The Sierra Club must take the lead in making sure this future is one that protects the environment. If you would like to be a member of this important committee please contact me.
