The following is from a recent e-mail I received from The Wilderness Society:

During the past few years, use of the Pike San Isabel National Forest has increased exponentially, a reflection of the increase in Colorado’s population growth. Conflicts between habitat preservation and visitor use will continue to grow as this trend continues.
=====================
This leads me to ask, what is the policy of The Wilderness Society on stopping US population growth, and stabilizing US population at a lower, sustainable level? (A level lower than today's population of over 300 million.)

Thanks for your attention to this matter.
