Are you interested in learning about or getting more involved with politics?
If so, consider attending Ready to Run: Campaign Training for Women.

The 1-day  Ready to Run program presents a unique opportunity for potential
women candidates to hear directly from prominent elected and appointed
leaders, campaign consultants and party officials about how to get Ready to
Run. Anyone considering seeking  office, running for higher office or working
on a campaign can attend.

The Ready to Run program will teach you about positioning yourself for
elective office, developing a campaign plan, fundraising, preparing for
television and radio communication, running as an outsider or challenger,
navigating the political parties, and connecting with voters.

Please see our website for more information about the workshop and for
registration forms: http://www.las.iastate.edu/CattCenter/readytorun.shtml

This workshop is for anyone considering seeking public office, running for
